Nature & surroundings
Rold Skov (forest) and Rebild Bakker are the biggest forests in Denmark (about 200km2), where you can walk in the woods and along several lakes: in Madum Sø (lake) and Big Økssø it is possible to take a swim.
Especially interesting are the "Troll Forest" and the many streams:
Large and Small Bluespring, Ravnkilde and others.
From the "Forest Tower" you have a brilliant view over the large heather hills in Rebild.
Places to swim:
Good for children: 4km to Madum Lake, 25km to Øster Hurup at Kattegat.
Golf:
5km to Rold Skov Golfclub.
